Our Mission & How it Aligns with Our Community Efforts
EarthLink’s mission is to help our customers create connections with the world around them. For us, that means finding our customers the right internet speed at the right price. It also means we understand the essential nature of the internet in our daily lives and how important it is to stay connected to what’s vital: family, friends, work, school, and everything else.

If our mission is to create and build connections, then supporting technology growth and improving access to education and must be at the center of what we do. For us, that means a commitment to STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) and helping to create technology leaders.

STEM
The Clubhouse Network
The Clubhouse Network is a global community with more than 100 Clubhouses in 21 countries that serve 25,000 youth each year.They allow young people to explore their ideas, develop new skills, and build self-confidence by using technology.
Technology Association of Georgia
TAG ’s mission is to connect, promote, educate, and influence Georgia’s technology ecosystem to advance the innovation economy. TAG serves the technology community by helping to support and grow tech leaders, companies, and the overall Georgia economy.
Local Community Engagement
Camp Southern GroundCamp Southern Ground has one mission supporting two causes — youth and veterans. They offer a week-long inclusive, residential camp serving children. The rest of the year, Camp Southern Ground serves our nation’s veterans through two transition programs.
Georgia Black United Fund
GBUF provides services to meet human needs supporting youth, education, health, veterans, culture and arts, and overall community development. They offer competitive annual grants to applying member organizations.
Lunchbox 276
Data and experience show that it’s difficult to learn on an empty stomach. EarthLink supports Lunchbox 276, a non-profit organization that’s dedicated to alleviating childhood hunger and providing adequate nutrition to food insecure children in Wise County, Virginia.
Mountain Empire Older Citizens, Inc.
Mountain Empire Older Citizens works to prevent the unnecessary institutionalization of older people, to provide long-term care services that support family caregivers, and to advocate on issues affecting older persons.
Athletics
Georgia Tech Athletic Association
The Georgia Insititute of Technology is committed to sports research, innovation, and technology which strike at the core of EarthLink’s commitment to customers. The partnership includes traditional sponsorship as well as supporting Georgia Tech athletics’ SPRINT initiative applying science and technology to improve athlete health and well-being. EarthLink also provides internship opportunities to Tech students to help create pathways to careers in technology.
