Mailboxes on your account work like regular email addresses on the Internet-- because that's what they are. You can configure an email program such as Outlook to check a mailbox's email account:
Name: Type the name, as you want it to appear next to your email address.
Email address: Type the full email address.
Incoming mail server: Choose POP 3, then type pop.yourdomain.com (where yourdomain.com is the part of your email addresses after the @ symbol).
Outgoing mail (SMTP) server: Web hosting customers have two options to use for their outgoing email server:
Your ISP or local network's outgoing mail server.
smtpauth.hosting.earthlink.net
This server requires authentication, and uses port 587. Connect
to the server using your mailboxname@yourdomain.com
as the "username" and the password for that mailbox.
Account
name: Type the full email address of the mailbox, for example, username@yourdomain.com.
Note: Some older email programs may require using a % in place
of the @ in your email address for this section.
Password: Type the email password (this is case-sensitive).
Note: For specific email settings tailored for your account, click Client Settings on the left side of your Control Center.
