![]() ![]() ![]() Sometimes criminals send out email messages that look like they come from banks, insurance agencies, retailers, or credit card companies. These fraudulent messages (also known as "phisher" schemes) are designed to fool you into giving away sensitive personal information. If you suspect that an email you've received is directing you to a Web site in order to gain illegal access to your personal information, we'd like to know. Please forward that email directly to EarthLink at: scamform@abuse.earthlink.net. If you have time to gather some additional information... Please forward the email to our Fraud Department with its full header information. Find out how. Text contained within the email headers often helps us trace the origin of the email and track down the senders. After you send the email, our Fraud Department will reply to indicate receipt of your message, research the issue, and take steps to protect other Internet users. You can rest assured that EarthLink will do what we can to block the fraudulent email and shut down any associated fraudulent Web site(s). Thanks for reporting scams |
