Did you know that you can manage many aspects of your EarthLink account right from your Web browser? Of course you did! EarthLink's account-management Web site called "My Account" (https://myaccount.earthlink.net) has been around for quite a while, and millions of EarthLink customers have used it to quickly and easily make changes to their EarthLink service, view and update their billing information, upgrade their email space, and much more.
As proud as we are of the success of My Account, we're not content to rest on our laurels. Our intrepid My Account development team is constantly working on upgrades and improvements to make your Internet experience as hassle-free as it can be.

Did You Know?
Each of your EarthLink email addresses can have a different amount of email space, and you can manage your email space right from the Service Details section of My Account.
What's the Word?
If you already know your password, you can sign in and change it without any fuss or muss. Just sign in, click the email profile you want to change, and click the Edit link next to Password.
What if you've forgotten your password? Most of us have forgotten a password at one time or another—we have so many to deal with these days! And the last thing you want to do is have to call Support and have them change it for you.
Never fear! If you ever forget your EarthLink password, you can choose a new one from My Account! But you have to know the word first.
The Security Word that is. Every EarthLink profile has a Security Word (sometimes called a Security Hint), which helps us identify you if you ever forget your password. Your Security Word will be something like your father's middle name, your mother's maiden name, your first pet's name, etc.
In the event you forget your password, just click "I forgot my password" on the My Account Sign In page to start the process of getting a new password. You'll have to enter some information so we can be sure that you are who you say you are—and part of that information is your Security Word.
No Security Word?
If you've never set up a security word (there are some people who haven't!), sign in to My Account today and set one up! When you sign in, you'll be prompted to enter a Security Word right off the bat.
If you don't have a Security Word, you'll need to know the credit card used to pay for your account. So, unless you want to give your credit card to Junior every time he forgets his password, set him up with a Security Word!

Ok, email doesn't fall from the sky. Yet. But announcements about new features in My Account do come in email. When you get email from EarthLink, resist the temptation to toss it in the trash immediately—there's important information in there! New updates and refinements to My Account happen every few months, and we love to let you know about them.
